		<description>Thanks to all the men and women who have been, 
and who still are in service to this country.

My daughter is in the Air force and is currently
stationed at Ft Gordon in Augusta Georgia.

I had occasion to visit her there, and spent
some hours cycling on base.  I have never had
such a relaxing ride on roads with motor 
vehicles as I did on that base.  Everyone simply
followed the rules.  I found it incredible.

I am hopeful that practically any military base
will have similarly well behaved traffic.  
I will seriously consider riding on base if I am
in need of recreational riding and am near a base.</description>
