Where Are You From?
June 25th, 2006 by Randy Policar
Within the Commute By Bike family, we have people from different parts of the country with different likes and dislikes. This allows us to share a more extensive point of view about riding. We have RL, Moe, and the Bike Princess Priscilla from the Golden State CA; JJ from the Peach State GA; Nick from the Empire State NY; and myself from the Keystone State PA. With all the traffic we get through this site, I was wondering where our readers are coming from. Please tell us where you ride.
Since we’ve been getting responces from people all over the world, I had to update the picture from the US to the whole wide world!

Hi! I’m Ana, and i live in the suburbs of Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, on the southwestern coast of Europe. I dream of putting together something like commutebybike.com in the future, to help my fellow countrymen discover the joys of bicycle commuting!
Cheers,

It’s so cool to see different people from all parts of the world share the same passion that we at Commute By Bike do. Please keep the response or comments coming.
Ana, good luck with your upcoming site. I’m sure that you would have fun with it as much as I do with CBB. Keep us posted on your progress with it.

how did your livestrong ride go?
good ride?
good experience?
did you find it to be an emotional experience
or
was it more of a ride?
oh
crash videos…
I usually hate them
yours with the queen soundtrack I did not hate for a while
for a while it was cute
then like most crash videos
it just looked like people getting hurt
I like to see people slip on the ice
but crashing a bike
well
it just does not give me the same pleasure

Gwadzilla,
My daughter and I were there to cheer on Moe for the Livestrong ride. Man I was all emotional!
I couldn’t imagine how some of the riders must have felt.
