Close Call

Having a good offense and a great defense is a must to keep safe specially while riding your bike. On my way home from work today I had an encounter with an 18-wheeler. I was riding on the right side of the road when I heard the rumble of a diesel engine behind me. It seemed to get louder so I turned to see how close it was. To my surprise, this truck was just a couple of feet away and was traveling a lot faster than I was. I just about soiled my pants when I scattered to get away from this guy. I don’t think he saw me at all. Wearing a reflector belt, a shiny red helmet, and plenty of sunlight was obviously not enough for this guy. It’s a good thing I had cat like reflexes or I might have been tarmac mystery meat.
