Allen Bike Rack 550RR

Today our good friends from Allen Bike Racks sent us the 550RR Deluxe 5 Bike Carrier to test out. I was like a kid in Christmas morning when I received the package.

The 550RR is equipped with the patented tie-down system that individually secures and protects bicycles. It has a 28″ long carry arms that easily accommodates up to 5 bikes. You could set it up and install in less than 5 minutes. It comes with a strap that eliminates lower bicycle movement. But would only fit a 2″ hitch.

Besides being able to load up to five bikes at one time, I love the fact that the 550RR could be folded down with ease in the event that you need to get into your trunk. With this rack, my buddies cannot use the excuse of not going for a ride because there’s no space for their bikes. Let’s see what excuses they come up with next. Stand by for a complete review.
