Commuter bikes at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show

March 5th, 2007 by Fritz

I attended the 2007 North American Bicycle Show in San Jose, California this past weekend, where craftsman displayed their works of art and admired one another’s worksmanship.

In addition to showing fascinating concept bikes and high performance racers, several builders specializing in utility bikes also appeared at the show. I’ll interview a few of these builders in the coming months and feature them here on CBB.

The 2008 NAHBS will be March 7-10 in Portland, Oregon.

    Hey, commuters!

Thanks for the paragraph. Also the picture was real cute - remember the kid. She was not too sure about the whole proposition IIRC.

The Muttonmaster is probably not what you would choose to commute any distance, but it **will** carry a load. The bike in the picture looks like its sold to this chef in Texas who wants to use it for his morning marketing.
