Bay Area Commuters Take Note
April 12th, 2007 by Warren T
Attention Bay Area residents; the Bay Area Bicycle Coalition and Metropolitan Transportation Commission have started accepting nominations for the region’s 2007 Bike Commuter of the Year.
Submit your nomination HERE
According to the Bay City News Wire:
In each of the nine Bay Area counties a bike commuter of the year will be nominated. Each nominee will be someone who is committed to biking to work everyday. Each winner will receive a plaque as well as a bike messenger bag filled with gear.
April 27th is the cut-off date for nominations.
The site also has a raffle for those of you in the Bay Area who promise to bike to work, school, errands, transit, or for play at least one time during Bike to Work Week, May 14-18. Wouldn’t take long to fill out the form and you could “win a bike and other fun prizes!”
