Put the Gas Savings Calculator on your website
June 5th, 2007 by Tim GrahlWe’ve had several requests to make the Gas Savings Calculator on our sidebar available for your websites. I did some tinkering with the code this morning and it’s ready to go. If you want the US version, drop this on your site:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://commutebybike.com/widget.php"></script>
If you have any questions or problems, send an email to diggers@commutebybike.com.

Nice little widget, Tim.
Glen, the source is viewable and easily modifiable if you know Javascript at all. Since it’s presented from a PHP page, it also shouldn’t be too difficult for Tim to have it accept parameters like metric vs U.S. measures and monetary unit also. That way the price can be in pesos per liter or guilders per gallon.

Let me know if you guys want the code so you can find out how much less CO2 will not be added to the atmosphere by riding a bike.
