Carey---the Sojourn does look great. A steel touring bike which comes complete with fenders, discs, and a rack should do very well for you. Are those 700c wheels, or 26 inches? I ride a small frame size(usually 52cm) and toe overlap is an issue with fat tires and fenders. Also, I have a beef with your 2008 One Way---you made it look just like my Gunnar Sport! :-) The only difference is my bike has a BRG Brooks B17---while yours appears to have the pre-softened B17. Am I correct there?

Hey Chris,

You are spot on about the Sojourn being a great commuter. It will come with full SKS fenders and it indeed will come with the Brooks saddle, Brooks leather bar tape, and a rear rack.

Glad to hear you dig the bike. As soon as we rigged it all up with the fixings for the shoot I could stop telling Kyle (our Product Designer at Raleigh) how bad a*@ of a bike this was. It rides super smooth as well.

Later.

Wow, that touring bike is rather bitchin!!! I mean, you would never see me with all the racks and such on there. But that bike would be very nice for commuting around town and for use on our many miles of local limestone tails. It just needs some nice fenders. Is that thing going to come with the Brooks Saddle??? A Brooks would probably freak some people out for sure. A Brooks is on my list of winter upgrades!!

Peace out
