Quiz: Would you use this bike facility?
March 20th, 2008 by FritzHere’s a quiz for you. After looking at the photo posted below, how do you recommend getting through this marked bike facility?
- “Take the lane.”
- Call public works and complain about the poor condition of the bike lane.
- Take public transportation.
- “There’s no bad weather, just bad clothing.” I’d don my rain cape and rain pants and cycle through it.
View this photo then let me know how to deal with this kind of situation. Props to Jack in St. Louis for this.

I’d switch to my 35c tires and hope for enough float. Like Brett though, I would have my snorkel on hand as plan B.

I’d stick with Dan, pump the tires to bursting point. should give enough to stay above water although I’d go with water wings instead of the snorkel, I’ve got Water world gills

I don’t see it as a huge deal, I’ll just ride in a more upright position.
There are some advantages to being over 6′ tall.
